If you want an easy, tasty and fast way to cook a piece of pork rump, then the next recipe is exactly what you were looking for.

Full of flavours from Greek herbs, white wine and French fries on the side, the satisfaction is guaranteed!!! This is a traditional Greek recipe, used as a wine treat ("meze") and is often cooked around Christmas in many regions of Greece.

Ingredients:

- 600gr/21oz/1.3lb pork rump, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons of dry oregano
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- a pinch of thyme
- 1 tablespoon spicy mustard
- 250ml (1 cup) white wine
- 180ml (2/3 cup) olive oil for frying

Preparation

Pour the olive oil in a deep frying pan and saute the pork for 12 minutes on medium to high heat.
Pour the wine, add salt and pepper, the oregano, the coriander, the thyme and the mustard.
Stir well and reduce the heat to medium/low.
Continue cooking for another 12 minutes. Remove from heat and serve with French fries on the side. Enjoy!

Tips:

You can also use long grain rice as a side, or for those on diet, steamed veggies.
